Who we are
J&L DIY Workshop operates this website to share workshop information and take booking and enquiry requests in Melbourne, Australia.
What we collect
When you book a workshop, enquire about a private event, or send a contact message, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email, phone number, preferred date, and message content. Payment for deposits is processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details on our servers.
Deposits
A 30% online deposit per guest confirms your workshop spot. The balance is arranged with the studio.
How we use it
We use this information to confirm bookings, reply to enquiries, send related confirmation emails, and operate the studio. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the site, including hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing. They only receive what is needed to provide those services.
How long we keep it
Booking and enquiry records are kept as long as needed for studio operations and legal requirements, then removed or anonymised when no longer required.
